3 years/36,000 miles (whichever occurs first) New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
- Wear and tear items and adjustments excluded after initial 12 months/12,000 miles (whichever occurs first).*
- Powertrain Limited Warranty for 5 years/60,000 miles (whichever occurs first).
- 12-year unlimited distance Volkswagen Corrosion Perforation Limited Warranty (except Routan).
Parts Limited Warranty.*
- Warranty replacement parts are covered within the remaining portion of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty or within 1-year/12,000 miles (whichever is greater).
- Over-the-counter Volkswagen parts are covered within 1 year or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first) beginning at the date of sale to the retail customer (or, if the part is installed, the installation date is considered the retail date).
- New or remanufactured parts installed during the warranty period are covered for any unused portion of the New Vehicle, Powertrain, or Emissions Warranties, or for the time and mileage limits of the VW Parts Warranties (whichever is greater).
