Brighter than halogen or regular filament bulbs, the optional Bi-Xenon™ light is created by an arc of electricity inside the bulb that's filled with xenon gas.

Marvel at its soft leather wrapping and functional design. This steering wheel comes with integrated controls for easy access to the entertainment system and to information such as average trip speed and miles to empty. It's your connection to the road, your car, and so much more.

A lot of suspensions are linked, so when your left wheel reacts to a pothole, your right wheel makes a similar motion. With independent suspension, all those little inconsistencies in the road will have less of an impact on you, your passengers and the way your Eos handles.

Ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers automatically alert you when you get too close to another car. Or mailbox. Or the garage door. You get the picture. It also includes a Trunk Lid Assistant that lets you know if you have enough room to open or close your convertible top.

Since the Eos comes standard with a turbocharged engine, we thought you'd appreciate the option of a six-speed DSG® automatic transmission with Tiptronic® as well.

Integrated right into the front structure of your Eos are impact-absorbing elements that allow for compression during a collision. That means the energy from the impact is absorbed by the car, which helps minimize the amount of energy that reaches you.

On the touchscreen stereo you've got an in-dash 6-CD changer, AM/FM radio, SD card reader, eight speakers, and a 3-month trial to SIRIUS® Satellite Radio.

The engine in the Eos comes with FSI®, which precisely injects atomized fuel directly into the combustion chamber of each cylinder. What does that all mean? Well, it makes the engine 25% more efficient than conventional injection engines.

Underneath the headrests in the back seat are two hidden steel beams. They're pneumatically deployed as soon as a rollover situation is detected. Just like airbags, they deploy lightning fast and are designed to help minimize the risk of injury in the event of a rollover.

Rear LED lights

The rear markers, brake lights and turn signal lights are all illuminated using light-emitting diodes. LEDs illuminate instantly, use less energy, and last significantly longer than standard light bulbs. Good for safety and the environment.

The award-winning 2.0L TSI® engine was designed with the highest torque-per-cylinder in its class. Which means it’s tuned to have a broad, flat torque curve with a nice, wide power band. Intelligent Crash Response System

After the airbags have been deployed in a collision, the Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS) automatically unlocks all doors, turns off power to the fuel pump, and turns on the hazard lights.
